What the Open Water Diver Course Actually Involves

The open water diver course is the internationally recognized beginner's scuba diving certification which allows you to dive independently to a maximum of 18 metres, all over the world.It consists of three main parts: knowledge development, where you build your diving knowledge and understanding of diving safety; confined water sessions, where you practise the essential skills in a pool or shallow water environment; and open water sessions, where you apply all of this knowledge and understanding in real – world, natural dive locations.
